Volunteer Opportunities

Every Mon - Fri 8:50 -9:10 - Front Office Help 1 - 2 people

Wed 10/7 10:40 - 11:00 - Help setting up Teacher Appreciation Luncheon 3 people

Thurs 10/8 10:00 - 3:00 - Stuffing Goodie Bags at Outlets at Anthem suite 435 Many hands make light work, come by for half an hour or longer to help us out.  We have 1500 bags to fill with Shopping Extravaganza treats.

Thurs 10/8, Fri 10/9, Tues, 10/12 & Wed. 10/13 - Assist with Student Book Exchange 1-2 people per time slot

• 10:30 - 12:45

Wed. 10/14 9:15 - 10:15 - Help with Fall Fundraiser Data Inputting - 2-3 people

Wed. 10/21 9:15 - 10:15 - Fall Fundraiser Data Inputting - 2-3 people

Wed. 10/21 9:00 - 10:00 - Box Top Counting - 3 -4 people

Thurs. 10/22 3:30- 4:00 - Setting up Teacher Appreciation Supper - 3 people

Sat. 10/24 - Community Garage Sale

• 6:00 - 7:00 am - 2 people
• 6:30 - 7:30 am - 2 people
• 11:30 - 12:30pm - 3 people

Thurs. 10/29 - Fall Festival & Pumpkin Walk - 4:30 -8:00 pm- We are looking for as many helping hands as possible.  We have lots of fun activities planned and need volunteers willing to commit half an hour to run the different stations.  We will also need assistance with set up and clean up.

Parents As Partners:  Information About Volunteering

• Basic training is a requirement, please see DVUSD Volunteer Training Dates & Times.
   
• No registration is required and it is free of charge.
   
• If you have attended Basic Training in the past, you need not repeat it.
   
• Basic Training lasts approximately 1 hr 20 min and you will receive all necessary volunteer materials.
   
• Volunteers may attend Basic Training at any location within the DVUSD school district.
   
• You may contact our Volunteer Coordinator or Parent & Community Involvement at 623-445-5016 with any questions or for additional information regarding training

About Volunteering Opportunities at School:

1. Complete the Volunteer Commitment Form
    
2. Attend basic training
    
3. Contact the school office or your student's teacher/s and enquire about school volunteering opportunities

About Volunteering at PTA Sponsored Events:

1. Complete the Volunteer Commitment Form
    
2. Attend basic training
    
3. Contact our Volunteer Chair and ask to have your e-mail added to her volunteer mailing list to ensure your being notified of future volunteering opportunities you may be interested in.
